  The only good thing about this hotel is the reception. Awkward doors, old furniture and design, not very good breakfast.. Well, it would be okay for $50 a night, but it was $150. Pictures and reviews were very good, but the reality disappointed. Location is great but it was definitely not worth it.

  This was among the cheaper hotels I found, and you soon realize why. There's an instant feel of the 70's, kinda simplistic, and apparently no major remodeling done the last 20-25 years. That's fine and even fascinating in my eyes, but maybe not in everyone's taste. The elevators alone are almost an adventure, I haven't seen such pushbutton panels since I was a kid. The hotel doesn't appear run down or unappealing, though. The staff is nice, breakfast is ok, and for my two day stay, this was an ok place to stay. Located in walking distance to bus/railway station and whatever downtown pub or restaurant you can dream about.

  Low cost accomodation in a decent location. Stayed in a single room. Was a bit cramped but reasonably well furnished. Reception was helpful.

  Run down and needs a makeover, definitely budget/economy expectations, but service is outstanding. Staff is friendly, accommodating, extremely helpful. Breakfast simple but good with fresh fruit and vegetables and warm crusty bread. Excellent central location, easy walk from his station, harbor, shops.
