  Midgard vikingsenter is small but interesting museum is devoted to the well-known site in Borre. In the very nice building are exhibited finds (or their replicas) which were discovered in numerous archaeological excavations on the site in Borre. Moreover, several meters to the east from this building are reconstructed huge mounds in which were found artefacts (e.g. mounts of horse bridle, mount of harness, jewellery) covered with elaborated ornaments (e.g. gripping beasts, chains, knots). Close to the museum building is reconstructed small stronghold. Behind stockade, is beautifully decorated longhouse and several small buildings. During festivals in Midgard vikingsenter in this place are presented numerous Viking Age crafts. In my opinion Midgard vikingsenter and its close neighbourhood are very interesting places to spend a day.

  The exhibition itself is small but walking arround is very nice and the hall very cool. Also the lady in the hall is very nice and knows a lot!

  Best museum I've been to by far. Loads of activities (as pictured) for kids and adults. The land this museum is situated on holds many other sights to see. You could stay here for 1 hour or all days. Highly recommend.

  Lots of history and good information! 3 areas to see. The exhibition/cafe , the burial mounds and finally the replica feasting hall! Good price for the amount that is on offer and well worth a visit!

  Super nice place.. Not just to get to know about vikings and vikings time... But to live the experience... Kids friendly... Family friendly... Great place to spend a day ❤️
