  We stopped off in Tromso from a Hurtigruten voyage and found this wonderful pub right on the quayside. The prices are reasonable (for Norway) and the service is outstanding. The place has an old Nordic charm about it, free WiFi and a huge selection of beer. If you have been on an excursion, before you get back on the boat, visit this little gem. It’s well worth it!

  Great atmosphere and good location by the water front. Particularly liked the Polar Bear.

  Very good selection of beers and wines, including their own beer which is made in their micro-brewery that can be seen from the bar. Live music is no stranger to this place, almost every night there is someone talented playing there. With their cozy interior coupled with great atmosphere, it's one of the most legendary and best pubs in Tromsø.
