Woke, hipster chic unique bar/hangout with a stand-alone private party space called "the apartment" for rent.Extraordinarily varied live entertainment and occasional events, eclectic vintage furnishings, occasional art exhibit, great staff. "Dama di" means "your girlfriend" as written our northern Norwegian dialect. It's outside sign is in Sami only, a choice that makes a loud and proud statement of inclusion in a region marred by discrimination against Norways native peoples. Bodø, in particular, has a longstanding culture war focused on the town's continuously vandalized bilingual Sami/Norwegian 'Bodø` sign. The name captures this bar/coffee house's relaxed vibe: it is informal and welcoming, and its homey warmth reflects the best of Northern Norways well-deserved reputation for hospitality. Dama Di has a fully stocked bar and can reflect our regions party--hard tradition late at night, but during the day and early evening it is a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee, read the paper, and have a quiet conversation or a lively political debate. Not a full kitxhen; snack foods only. The typical customer is 30ish, left-leaning, socially engaged and well read who favors a scruffy 3-day beard and/or minimal makeup. But the the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff make folks of any age and from any walk of life feel at home. Low to moderate prices, informal, highly recommended.

It seems like a little, cozy place at first, but it's fairly big. They have a little of everything to offer from drinks, and alot of good music. Every Sunday they have free food. Tastes good
