  So much to the museum! It is larger than what it first appears to be. Lots of interesting and beautiful pieces

  There is a ton of content here, with tons of model ships and historic items, all for free! You can even go inside of an old submarine that's out front. Unfortunately (for foreigners) the signs are all in Norwegian only, but I believe you can scan QR codes on some signs to get and English translation. I didn't do this but still had a great time looking at everything.

  Funn to see old boats and how thing was. Its also some big submarine and boats from tha Norwegian Navy.

  I might be among the rare French tourists who visited this museum. The entrance is free, it is clean and there are very interesting ship models and documents to see. Everything is in Norwegian but you can appreciate the museum even if you don't speak it. We had a guided tour on the boat outside and it was kind to make it in English specially for us.
