::I was somewhat disappointed in the visit to the synagogue , not aware that there was a requirement to contact them st least a minimum of one month prior to a planned visit So they could do a background check of the visitora. They also said your email should tell them why you want to visit and who you are. . I was told by the wonderful security guard outside, that even with the submitted request for a visit, some visitors are still turned away. The outside is a very old building with lovely letters in Hebrew enscribed over the door, but I was saddened that I was not allowed entry. So- if you consider a visit to this Orthodox synagogue- visit the website (website is being updated now) and submit a request for a visit at least one month before you plan to go.
